Robert Spencer Condie

Robert Spencer Condie, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away November 28th, 2024, at his home surrounded by loving family. He was born November 16th, 1938, Pocatello, Idaho, the son of James F. and Phoebe Jones Condie. 

On August 28th, 1958, Robert married his sweetheart, Beulah Elaine Condie in the Idaho Falls Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Robert adored his wife of 52 years and considered his greatest joy and accomplishment to be his family. He began his career in 1960 in the administration of the insurance industry. Following that path for 37 years, he retired in 1997 as President of Farm Bureau Insurance in the Western Region. 

Robert demonstrated his love for his Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ as an active member of the Church of Jesus of Latter-day Saints, serving in several callings that included Bishop, two LDS missions with his wife, temple ordinance worker and temple recorder. He enjoyed reading, running and doing activities with his children.

He is survived by his children Sheri (Darrell) Ball, Debra (Robert) Stransky, Teresa (Vail) Codling, Barbra (Victor) Tenecela, Christopher (Wendi) Condie, Brian (Vanessa) Condie, Roger (Kelly) Condie; 28 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; brothers and sister, James J. Condie, Richard L. (Nancy) Condie, and Colleen (Wilbur) Gregory. Preceded in death by his wife Beulah, his parents and sister Marilyn (Stan) Henson. 

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 5th, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Jordan Willows 8th Ward building, 496 River Way, Lehi, Utah. A viewing will be held at the church on the same day, Thursday, December 5th from 9:30 – 10:45 AM. Interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery, Pocatello, Idaho on Friday, December 6th at 11:00 AM.
