Richard Dick Webber, 60, died unexpectedly on Thursday, June 8, 2017, in Sandy, Utah. He was born in April 1957 in Augusta, Maine, son of Richard Webber, Sr. and Gerene Beaulieu Webber. Known among his friends and family as a lover of lobster, whoopie pies and gambling towns. Dick was a hard worker from an early age, helping at his Dads store, Webbers Variety, at the age of eight, earning comic books for pay, including his favorite Archie Comics. He graduated in 1976 from Deering High School in Portland, Maine. He was particularly proud of a time he held 14 jobs simultaneously, wining a bet that he had made with a friend. Dick worked in the printing industry for over 25 years and established his own printing business in Southern California named 1st Impression Printing. Additionally, Dick loved to build and create. Later, after moving to Utah, he founded Webber Countertops, LLC, building residential and commercial countertops. Dick was the quintessential people person with a magnetic personality. He thoroughly enjoyed talking with people, and was genuinely interested in their lives and stories. Always a comedian, he will be forever remembered for bringing smiles and laughter to all.
