Richard Kent Thomas

Richard Kent Thomas found peace on March 5, 2015, surrounded by his loving family.  He is preceded in death by his parents Jack and June Thomas, his brother Kelly Thomas and his daughter Jill Love.  He is survived by his brothers Wilson and Jack M. Thomas, his sons Richard and Chris Thomas, his daughters Rachael Garcia and Kelly Brooks, seven grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Richard understood the secret of a good life.  He knew it was measured by his integrity, his work ethic, his ability to laugh at himself and the love of his family. These endearing qualities will be remembered.  Richard considered himself a rich man, not for his material possessions but for the gift of his family.

The family would like to thank CNS Hospice for their grace and attention.  We would like to acknowledge his son Richard who honored his father by keeping his tradition of loving care as he did for his mother.

We will honor the memory of Richard at an informal memorial (his request) at 11 am on Saturday, March 14, at Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State Street, Midvale, Utah.
