Richard Frank Clark

Richard Frank Clark Born August 29, 1955 Richard was born in Iowa Falls, Iowa. Spent many years in Roosevelt, Utah and resided in Salt Lake City, Utah; died March 14, 2017. He is proceeded in death by his father Leonard Lavern Clark, mother Laura Marie Korth, brothers Leonard Jr, Joe, Terry, Rex and sisters Susan and Judy. He is survived by his step mom Jane Clark, siblings Lyle, Toby, Sherry, Doug and Tony. He is survived by his children, Julius, Misty, Shelly, Tiffany, Jason, Thalena, J.R, Katherine, Mariah. Previous loves Jonnell, Delene, and Carolyn. Richard loved the outdoors and lived an adventurous life. �He was a country boy although he lived in the city�, said by Tony(brother). Richard made a living driving semi-trucks long and short hauls. Knives and guns were his thing. He loved watching football and shared his team Greenbay Packers with his daughter Tiffany. His grandchildren Jazmyn, Antonio, Romeo, Angelina, Isabella and Kyla hold a special place in his heart. Richard did serve his country in the United States Army, thank you for your service dad. Family would like to share memories of Richard� Big Brother, I can�t say I�m going miss you throwing me over your shoulder and spinning me. Life was an adventure when you were here, and I can�t even express how much I will miss you. You are always in my heart big brother, Love always your baby sis�Sherry My dad, was an amazing man and always taught me to be such a strong person, to always stand up for myself. He taught me how to fish, drive semi-trucks and self-defense. He was the first to put a riffle in my hand and I have enjoyed shooting ever sense. My dad was such an amazing grandpa to my three children. He made sure no matter where he was driving truck, he was always the first to the hospital when my children were born. His grandkids were always first and I will always be his little girl. I love you so much dad and your grandkids miss and love you so very much -Misty Richard finally had a chance to reunite with me in 2013. He was also able to meet his granddaughter Kyla. Our time was spent together at Crater Lake in Oregon; a place Richard had wanted to see for a long time. Our visit together allowed me a chance to gain a better understanding of the circumstances regarding our time apart. Despite the time lost, in my eyes Richard is still very much my dad- Julius Going back to when we first met. Richard said �We are going to be married�, I replied �I don�t see that�. He tracked me down through friends and sure enough with his old-fashioned courtship, we did get married. During our marriage, I gave him the nickname Griz which later he came home with a grizzly bear tattoo. The nickname stuck his entire life. He was a great dad to my four children, he always said they are his children and yes they are. Our friendship was deep in our souls; it was like we could read each other�s minds. Even though we went our separate ways, I will miss our friendship and the love we shared- Delene I wanted to play basketball in the driveway and dad had his semi parked in the way. Well I asked him to move it, he tossed me the keys and said �If you want to play, move it yourself�. Little did he know what was about to happen. I got in the truck and started it up with him standing in the driveway telling me what to do. I started to move it and I popped the clutch hitting the tree causing damage to the truck. He didn�t care, he said �it can be fixed�. My dad had that attitude of teaching you something you needed to learn and when mistakes were made, he calmly showed you things are easily fixed. I�m going to miss you, Love you dad- Jason I don�t even know how to express how grateful I am for everything you did for myself and your grandkids. It takes a big heart to take kids and love them the way you did. I will never forget how you always checked on us and told us daily how much you loved us and how proud you are. We will always miss you and love you. I�ll see you soon-Shelly My dad was a great father. He came into my life when I was 10, now I�m 34. Although my parents separated, he stayed in my life until his last breath. You helped me with life, direction and figuring things out. My dad had a huge heart for others, before he took care of himself he was always trying to help someone else. I see myself following those footsteps, thank you for setting that example for me. I�ll miss you every day, till I see you again� I love you dad -Tiffany I want to thank the University of Utah, NCC Unit for their service and unconditional care to him.
