Richard Lynn Allenbach

RICHARD LYNN ALLENBACH returned home to be with his Father in Heaven on July 22, 2016. Rick was born August 13, 1951 and came into this world with a heart of gold. He was extremely talented and had a passion for music and carpentry work. Rick's path of life was directed to being the best sound technician for rock groups and for being a woodcrafter of fine cabinetry and all kinds of carpentry work. Rick found great enjoyment in landscaping and was taught by his grandpa, Elmer Glover who was the original owner of Glover Nursery in Midvale. Rick was an awesome water skier and was so happy whenever he was boating with family or friends at Lake Powell or in the San Diego Bay area. He was able to spend over 15 years with his younger brother Cliff in San Diego, which they both cherished as their favorite time together. Rick raised his son R.J. as a single parent, and R.J. was the light of his life. Rick was extremely proud of his son and made sure that people knew that. He taught his son the true meaning of hard work and what it meant to be a kind and appreciative person. As Rick was the most grateful and unselfish person there ever was. R.J. loved his dad and wanted to make him proud. Rick would always be doing construction work or beautifying someones home and yard, just because he was such a generous person. Instead of payment for his work on his sisters home, he only asked her to keep the Greek Gyros coming in! One Christmas Eve, he stayed up all night putting together a large scaled train set for his nephews, complete with town, grass and of course working street lights. Rick was always happy and upbeat, positive and excited about life. He had the gift to gab and he could and would always make any get together fun and relaxing. He would make anyone feel right at home. Rick had a rare and unique personality, he was funny and hilarious. You would never hear Rick speak negative about anyone and was always the first to be appreciative of anyone who helped him throughout his life. Rick did not have expectations from anyone. He truly loved everyone he knew. Rick was blessed to have the opportunity to take care of his elderly father for the past two years. Their relationship became one of tenderness, love and mutual respect for each other. He also loved his mother with all of his heart and was the first to always comment on her being the most beautiful lady he knew! Undoubtedly, Rick made this world a better place by showing others the meaning of charity. He taught people how to be of service to others and he showed people how to give without receiving. He was unique in every way, but most of all he showed and exemplified the true love of Christ. He wil be dearly missed, but will live forever in our hearts. Thank you Rick for being such a beautiful and lasting part of our lives. WE LOVE YOU! And yes, your sister will definitely watch out for all the whack-a-doodles out there driving home. We all look forward with loving arms to being with you again. Rick is survived by his loving parents, Cliff Allenbach Sr., Anne Glover Dunton, Richard James Allenbach (son), Stacy Fisher (sister) and Cliff Allenbach Jr. (brother),. He will be missed by his niece and nephews, Dana, Collin, Colton, Connor and Foster. A "CELEBRATION OF RICK'S LIFE" will be held on TUESDAY JULY 26th 5-8 pm - for family and friends. - 513 East Moss Creek Drive (4730 so), Murray, Utah 84107
