Reva Morgan

Reva Golden Morgan started life on April 29, 1925 and passed away July 11, 2017 in Nephi Utah. She was the 2nd Child of Rufus Stafford Golden and Zelma Elizabeth Christensen. Reva loved life and family. In 92 years she packed in a lot of life. (The last few years were a little less than wonderful!)

Reva met her husband Fay LeGrand Morgan, on a blind date arranged by Majorie Bird. As their interest in each other grew they were married on January 1, 1941 and were later sealed for Time and Eternity in the Salt Lake Temple on January 18, 1944. They raised their family of 6 children, Wayne, Russell, Sydnee, Brad, Randy and Karen. At Reva's passing they had 26 Grandkids, 47 Great Grandkids and 6 Great-Great Grandkids. Quite a posterity!

Reva (and Fay) loved camping. Deer camps, fishing trips, family trips or reunions were a great adventure waiting to happen with family and friends. The only thing better was watching the JAZZ! And the only thing better than that was going to a ball game or sport of any kind where kids or grandkids were playing. Grandpa Fay took kids to the Coffee shop for hot chocolate and Grandma Reva loved giving out $1 bills for HOME RUNS or CAUGHT FLY BALLS or GOALS!

Reva worked at the turkey plant, sewing plant and Nephi Hospital to help support their family. Reva was an excellent seamstress, making clothes of every kind. Reva also loved to crochet afghans and bowl. Fay and Reva were part of the bowling league when they found spare time. Reva faithfully served in the LDS Church in the library, as a Primary teacher, a Relief Society Secretary, a Visiting Teacher, served on the Sunday School Stake Board and other callings as they come. Reva had a beautiful voice and loved to sing in the Ward Choir and Reva and her mother, Zelma, were part of the Church Women's Choir.

Reva was preceded in death of her immediate family, Wayne (son), Florence (sister), Zelma (mother), Rufus (father), Don (brother), Fay (husband), Brad (son), Glen (brother) and Clyde (brother).

Reva is survived by Gary (brother), Russ & Betty (son) Sydnee & Dan (daughter), Randy (son), Karen & Alan (daughter).

On July 22, 2017 the Family will have a viewing at the Anderson Funeral Home (94 W 300 N, Nephi, Utah) from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.

Interment and graveside service will follow and be held at the Vine Bluff Cemetery (400 E 900 N).

Memorial Luncheon, "A CELEBRATION OF LIFE" will follow at the Nephi 1st, 2nd & 8th Ward Building at 12:00 noon (Corner of 200 S 100 E, Nephi, Utah) for Family and Friends.
