February 8, 1956 — December 25, 2017

Renae Wagstaff

Our loving sister, mother, grandmother and aunt passed away surrounded by her family on December 25, 2017. ReNae was born in Ogden, UT on February 8, 1956 where she spent her early childhood before moving to Gooding, ID. There she graduated from Gooding High School and then went on to graduate from Links Business School. She devoted many years working for the State of Idaho, first for the Health Department and then for the State School for the Deaf and Blind which she really enjoyed. She lived with her mother for many years and later became an amazing caretaker for her mom. She raised her daughter and helped take care of her grandkids, her favorite of many roles.

She moved to West Jordan, UT in 2011 where she moved in with her sister because of health issues. She spent her days working on herself and helping her family. She was always happy to do anything asked of her, whether it was providing rides for the kids, watching the kids or helping around the house. She was a favorite playmate for her sister's grandkids as they dressed her up, colored, made crafts, read stories and pretty much anything they could dream up; GreNae was a willing companion.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Marvel and her brother Ralph. She was survived and adored by her sister, Colene; daughter, Rebecca Jo (James) and her grandkids, Corinna (Chris), Alee, Shienne and Treyson as well as many nephews, nieces, grand-nephews and grand-nieces.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 29, 2017 at 12:00 pm, including a viewing held from 10:30-11:45 am at the Copper Hills Stake Center, 5176 W. Parr Dr., West Jordan, UT 84081. The interment will follow at the West Jordan Cemetery.
