Renée Andrew Alder peacefully returned home surrounded by her loving family at the age of 89 on June 24, 2018. She was born September 11, 1928, in Provo, Utah to Myrtle and William Andrew. She was a good and faithful servant, walking every step with her Savior. An accomplished musician with an angelic voice, she reached out to everyone she met with faith, compassion, and love. Renée married Edgar Anderson Alder on June 25, 1948, and is survived by all 11 of their children: Edgar (Deana), Cheryl (Fred), Colleen (Michael), Linda (Paul), Reuel (Kay), Lynette (Garry), Shelly (Kelly), Kimberly (Dirk), Bill (Mechell), Chase (Alisa), Cameri (Ian); 57 grandchildren, and 82 great-grandchildren. Renée was laid to rest in the shadows of the Deep Creek Mountains, next to her husband on their 70th wedding anniversary. A celebration of her extraordinary life will be Saturday, June 30, at Calvary Chapel, 460 Century Dr. Murray, Utah. 2:00-5:00 pm (3:00 pm program).
