Raymond Lonnie Martinez, 57, passed away February 14, 2017 in West Jordan, Utah. He was born July 17, 1959 in Glendale, Arizona to Raymond Avelino and Viola Archuletta Martinez.
He served his country in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed riding motorcylces, playing guitar, playing poker with family, camping and fishing trips, and building model cars.
Survived by sons, Levi Lucero and Reyes Martinez, mother, Viola Flores, stepfather, Nick Flores, stepbrothers, Rick (Patty) Gire, Robert (Rose) Flores, Richard (Lydia) Flores, stepsister, Roann (Mike) Beets, one grandchild, Landon, and brothers and sisters in Phoenix, AZ. Also survived by many cousins, uncles, and aunts from Utah Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico. Preceded in death by his father, Raymond A. Martinez.
Funeral Mass will be Friday, February 17, at 11 a.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church, 624 W. Lennox St., Midvale, where there will be a viewing Friday from 9-10:30 a.m., with recitation of the Rosary at 10:30 a.m. Interment, Midvale City Cemetery.
