Randy, our son, dad, brother, uncle, great uncle and grandpa passed away unexpectedly on July 18, 2018 from a massive stroke. He was 57 years old.
He was born on October 27, 1960 to Lee R. Cressall and Sharon Goff Cressall. He was raised in the Sandy and Midvale area and graduated from Hillcrest High in 1979. As a young boy he excelled in little league sports where his teams won many championships. He then continued to play high school baseball and football. He was also an outstanding and valued wrestler for the Huskies.
After high school he married Cheryl Fullmer, later divorced, together they were blessed with a son, Jacob.
Randy enlisted in the US Army and served in Germany in the Second Armored Calvary Regiment.
Later he spent most of his work career in construction and was proud to be a crane operator and a hod tender for many years.
Randy had a heart of gold and loved his family and friends who will miss him dearly.
He is survived by his parents, Lee and Ellie; son, Jacob (Jennifer); grandchildren,
Shyanne, Tailey, Julianne and Dalton; brother, Kevin Cressall; sisters, Terry Cressall (Jeff Smith), Gay (Jerry) Pena, Teri (Ronnie) Bogden, Misty (Jon) Kane; special niece, Meggon Prescott and family. He also leaves behind many other nieces and nephews. Randy is preceded in death by his mother, Sharon and his grandparents.
