On August 24th, 2020, our mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter and sister was called home to spend eternity with her one true love and into the loving arms of her mom and dad.
Ramona Louise Woten Best was born June 6th, 1947 to Ira Everitt Woten and Lois Shulze Woten in Stanton, Nebraska. She later married Vernon J Best in Salt Lake City, Utah on November 15th, 1967. Together they raised 4 children, Veronica Ann Sundquist, Vernon Courtney Best (Katie), Kimberly LeeAnn Best-Urra (Chris), and Lance Tyler Best whom she loved each and everyone of her children in her own way.
She had 6 younger sisters and brothers: Bobbie Hooker (Dale), Beckie Youngberg (John), Dale Woten (Wendy), Cecil Woten (Loraine), Sandy Woten, and Wendy Youngberg (David) and five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and one very dear and best friend whom she loved like a sister, Patty Roundy.
Our Mother longed to return to the state she considered home, Colorado, home to the Denver Broncos which was her favorite team.She adored fishing, the mountains, and spending time with her loved ones.
We would like to mention a very special heartfelt thank you to Heidi Beckman, our mother's personal nurse and new friend. We would also like to thank Covington Senior Living in Orem, especially Lexi, who went above and beyond to help our mother adjust to her new place; which she absolutely loved. Thank you! You are phenomenal ladies with helping her through this trying time.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Mona City Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held following the graveside from 4:00 - 7:00 at Veronica Sundquist's home in Springville (1427 South Archmore Drive).
