Rachelle Alanna Rawlins Diviney was born on February 13, 1986 to Rawlen and Yvonne Rawlins in Orem, Utah. She was the third daughter in a family of six children. Rachelle was a happy, fun-loving child who loved playing with her brother and sisters. She loved animals and always loved having pets - her favorites were gerbils, hamsters, a rat, and cats and dogs.
When Rachelle was 18 months old, she became very ill and was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. We nearly lost her but due to a loving and caring nurse who saved her life by recognizing the signs of diabetes even though it was so unusual for such a small child. Her blood sugar had to be checked multiple times a day as well as multiple insulin shots every day. This was a real challenge for her throughout her life but she did her best with it.
Rachelle had a passion for food - she loved to cook and made amazing dishes and loved learning about other cultures. She loved to travel. She loved fashion and had a flair for making every outfit look great. She also had a passion for art and even participated in a couple of art shows. She also loved china and porcelainware. She loved flowers and loved being surrounded by beautiful things.
Rachelle was a very thoughtful person - she seemed to be able to sense what others needed. She tried to make those around her happy.
Rachelle attended the University of Utah and received a bachelor's degree in sociology and environmental sustainability. Shortly after graduation she married Darrin Diviney. They had a beautiful daughter, Aurora, who was Rachelle's whole world.
Rachelle is survived by her husband, Darrin Diviney; their daughter, Aurora; her parents, Rawlen and Yvonne Rawlins, siblings Darby Concannon (Joey); Adrianna Rawlins (Brian Fleenor); Trafton Rawlins; and Clarissa Banks (Dylan), as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandma.
Rachelle will be deeply missed - our wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend.
