Priscilla LaVern Overby Evans, 86, our loving mother and grandmother, peacefully passed away on March 11, 2017 in Sandy, Utah. She was born on June 21, 1930 to Vernon Ervin and Ioleen King Overby in Salt Lake City, Utah. Priscilla married Lorin LeRoy Evans on December 4, 1953 in Salt Lake City, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many callings. Priscilla was an excellent cook, making birthday cakes for everyone in the family and providing many goodies at family parties. She was the perfect hostess. Priscilla was a wonderful seamstress and willing to help anyone in need. She enjoyed spending time with her many dear friends within the Draper community. Her and Lorin enjoyed traveling, fishing at Strawberry Reservoir and spending time with family and friends. She loved her entire family.

Survived by her children, Jack (Jerrilyn) Evans of St. George, Utah; Margo (Glen) Densley of Riverton, Utah and Carolee (Steven) Jensen of Sandy, Utah; 16 grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren; 33 great great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Delores Overby. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Myrna Faye Densley Holbrook; granddaughter, Sydnee Lee Densley; brother, Jim Overby.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Anderson & Goff Mortuary, 11859 South 700 East, Draper, Utah. Viewings will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday evening and 1 hour prior to the service. Interment, Draper Cemetery.
