Peter Mapusaga Matina

Having completed his work here on earth, Peter Mapusaga Matina accepted his new calling from our Heavenly Father on March 30, 2017 to reunite and work with family and friends who�have preceded him. Peter joined the Matina clan on March 1, 1960 as the second son of Seakelise and Julia Celestine Blackburn Matina. He lived a full earthly life as a son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He was a jack-of-all-trades with an interest in a variety of hobbies. He never discriminated against junk food, loved everyone and added spice to life as a hellion a time or two. Peter passed along his love for fishing, music and sports to his three sons�Max Diamond, Zachariah Mapusaga, and Alexander Sky Matina. He continues to watch over them as well as their growing families�Adalyn Roze Argyle, Ella Anne, Rexton Peter, Brittney Dzierzon, Lundon Dzierzon and Brooklyn Marie Matina�and awaits the day they will all be reunited again. He is preceded in death by Seakelise Matina, Julia Celestine Blackburn Matina, Moana Taele Matina, Paul Seakelise Matina and Mark Seakelise Matina. He is also survived by his siblings Arline Spencer Matina Starr, Leilani Malaeaimi Matina Mauga, Mathew Seakelise Matina, Phillip Avei Matina, Tiara Fa'aogea Matina, Auono James Matina, Matina Seakelise Matina and Sosiua Shazer Matina.
