"THE BEST DAD & GRANDPA"
Peter LeGrande Dobson was born on October 3, 1964 to Lila Mae Dobson. He was tragically and suddenly taken from us on June 7, 2017. He loved first and foremost to spend his time with his family and friends. He loved to ride, camp, boat, fish, ski, sing, hunt, play ball and to teach whomever wanted to learn something new. He was a genuine, loving, fun and inspirational man. He always had the best advice EVER, never judging and was always there no matter what. His family was his pride and joy. He was the leader of the brotha hood of the cool and always guided us even with our faults. He was a Denver Broncos fan through and through. His favorite color was blue. He also loved Rock & Roll. Some of the best times he ever talked about were his times with the brotha hood of the cool and the adventures he had with Zach, Vince, Gordy, Bly, Shane, Shawn and Johnny. Also his recreational adventures with his brothers-in-law, Les Taylor and Bruce Woods, family members and friends, Mike Conner, James Perea, Chad LeClaire, Darwin Woods, Dennis Brumfield, Dave Weiler, Pat Dobson, Jared Jolly, Toren Smith, Tony Leonard, Nathan Phillips, Billy Phillips and many more family members and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jeannie Woods Dobson; daughters, Amanda, Cassie, Jennica and Savannah and their spouses, Chelsea, Ricardo, Caesar and Nathan; grandchildren, Hayden, Giovoni, Bentley, Tyesin, Ricky, Joliene, Alizea and Hennicee; siblings, Patrick, Maryann, Michael, Harry and Steve; goddaughters, Megan, Cynthia, Michelle, Christie and Chelsea Smith; in-laws, Ned (Patty) Woods, Les (Teri) Taylor, Annette (Chad) LeClaire, Bruce (Renee) Woods, Cindy (Ed) Engles, Pam (Jason) Bartell, Vera Leonard, Karen Connor, John Connor, Janice (Randy) Warner; grandmother, Elizabeth Connor; numerous nieces, nephews and many more family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Lila Mae Dobson; father, Milton LeGrande Dobson; daughter, Ashley Mae Dobson; nephew, Zach Dobson; grandfather, Albert Connor; uncle, Mike Connor; many other family members & friends.
He was loved by all, hated by none. He was a very hard worker, the best dad, grandpa and the truest soul ever. There will not be a day that will pass by that you won't be on our minds and in our hearts forever, nor will our lives be the same without you. Us girls will carry you in our hearts, thoughts, memories and souls as everybody will. Losing you has been the worst. Thank you for everything in our lives, but mostly for being our daddy.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 16, 2017 at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State Street, Midvale, Utah. There will be a viewing from 12-1:45 p.m. for family and friends to say their goodbyes and share memories.
