Pete Carter

Peter Joseph Carter, 64, passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2022 in Millcreek, Utah. Pete was born December 28, 1957, in Evanston, Illinois. He was a graduate of Arlington High School in Arlington Heights, Illinois. He moved to Utah in 1994 to work and enjoy the great outdoors. Pete was an avid fisherman and enjoyed cooking and handicapping horse races. He was well known for his gentle nature and jovial, infectious laugh. Pete valued his family and friends and will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents Dr. Frank and Marge Carter. He is survived by his siblings Frank Jr. (Karen Nelson) Carter, Suzanne (Lee) Rogers, Julia (Douglas) Schiffman, Nancy Carter, Tom Carter, Laura (Kevin) Maloney and Phillip (Letitia) Carter; uncle of 15; granduncle of 11.

Services and celebration of life will be held at a later date in the summer in Illinois. He will be interred at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Cemetery in Palatine, Illinois.
