Pedro Ramos

On Monday, March 22nd, Pedro Ramos, beloved father, son, brother, cousin, and friend passed away at the age of 44.

Pedro (Pete) was born on August 8th, 1976 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Rolando and Maria Ramos. At 17 he joined the United States Marine Corps and began his 16-year career in both the Marines and Navy. On June 12, 1999 he married Michelle Broussard; they have two children, Zachary and Hailey.

Known for his charisma and zest for life, Pedro was always ready for a new adventure.  Armed with curiosity and a camera around his neck, Pete traveled to countless places around the world and made memories and friends wherever he went.  He had an uncanny ability to connect with a wide variety of people and will be remembered for his infectious laugh, larger-than-life personality, and big heart.

Pete is survived by his mother and father, Maria and Rolando Ramos; his wife, Michelle; his two children, Zachary and Hailey; brother, Rolando; and sisters Angela, Christina, and Veronica; and countless cousins, nieces, nephews, and loved ones.

A viewing/wake will be held on Friday, March 26th from 6:00-8:00 pm at Goff Mortuary (8090 State Street, Midvale). An additional viewing will be held Saturday, March 27th, from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm followed by a service in the chapel at Goff Mortuary at 1:00 pm. Pete will be laid to rest in the Midvale Cemetery.
