Pearce Shelton Danner, 35, died unexpectedly at his home November 29, 2017. He was the son of S. Ted (Karen O.) Danner of Draper, UT and Stacy Dart of Payson, UT. We will miss him so much; his humor and wit were extraordinarily captivating. Pearce was a valuable member of the University of Utah Health team for over 17 years. He cared for hundreds of patients in his role as an HCA in the OR and as an EMT in the Emergency Department. In 2011, Pearce transitioned into a new role as an IT Analyst and used his previous bedside care experience to help build and create documentation that continues to help providers and nurses deliver the highest quality care to patients. He also volunteered for many years at the AIDS Foundation. Pearce welcomed everyone into his heart without judgment. His brothers and sisters, Summer (Brady) Knotts, Ian, Cameron, Sean, Caitlin Dart, Olivia and Claire, will miss his love of all things fine, his laughter, and his hugs. A Celebration of Life will be held to honor Pearce on Friday, December 8, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Cannon Mortuary, 2460 E Bengal Blvd., Salt Lake City, UT 84121. For those who desire, there will be a small service at the LDS chapel on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. 607 E Rocky Mouth Lane, Draper, UT 84020.
