Paul Ronald Jewett

Paul Ronald Jewett, 77, passed away on January 27, 2015 in Murray, Utah. He was born on May 5, 1937 in Salt Lake City, Utah to George Willington and Alta Viola Davis Jewett. Paul married Orene YaVon Thomas in the Salt Lake Temple on September 24, 1965.

He worked for UDOT as a Plans and Contracts Specialist for many years. Paul was an active member of the LDS Church, serving in various callings and enjoyed going to the Temple.

He enjoyed going to dinner with his wife and spending time with his children and grandchildren. His family was his life.

Survived by his wife, Orene; children, Steven W. Jewett, Carol A. (Jeff) Johanson, Lisa (Ryan) Mower; 3 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brother, Craig (Nancy) Jewett. Preceded in death by his parents and brother, Wallace Jewett.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at the Midvale 6th Ward, 8171 S. Jackson Street, Midvale, Utah. Viewings will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday evening at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State Street, Midvale, Utah and 1 hour prior to the services, at the church. Interment, Midvale City Cemetery.
