Patsy Ann Dimond, our mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2022. She was born March 17, 1932 to Grace and Roy Rogers in Marland, Oklahoma, married William S. Dimond and had two lovely daughters, Pamela Kay Dimond and Paula Jean Dimond.
As a homemaker, Patsy was a great cook and committed her life to taking care of her daughter Paula. She had a crafty and artistic mind, enjoyed quilting, making flower arrangements, ice skating, dancing, and music. She is remembered for committing her life to serving others, first her daughter Paula, and then the homeless and other humanitarian organizations. Every year she selflessly made and donated items to the less fortunate, and took pride in helping those in need. Her greatest joy came from all the pets she had throughout her life, but most recently “Buddy” a rescue dog that may just have rescued her too.
She is preceded in death by her husband William S., her daughter Paula, and her two brothers, Harvey and Harold, and is survived by her daughter, Pam, her brother, Roy, grandchildren Melanie (Dave), Chris (Viviana), and Greg, and great-grandchildren Taylor, Kaden, Logan, and Jocelyn.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at 11:30 a.m. at West Jordan Cemetery, and a viewing will be held the same morning from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Goff Mortuary on 8090 S State Street in Midvale.
