Patsy Ruth Ball, born December 20th, 1933, to David Enoch Wallgren and Caroline Almira Hewlett, passed away peacefully on September 15th, 2023, in Murray, Utah. On February 11th, 1957, she married Leslie Ray Ball. They were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on December 8th, 1961. They had two children, David Leslie and Patrick Michael.
She worked for Deseret Medical and then Becton Dickinson as an assembly line worker building medical equipment until her retirement. She then volunteered with Foster Grandparents and worked at Primary Children’s hospital and then in Kearns, dedicating over 20 years of her life to working with children.
Mom loved reading and at any given moment you could find her reading a mystery or fantasy novel. She also loved visiting Moab, getting together with family, and visiting with her sisters. She was an excellent cook, and her family was always fed. Over the years, Patsy held positions in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Primary, Relief Society, and the library.
She is preceded in death by her parents (David, Fred (step-father), and Caroline), brother (Ross), sisters (Faye, Wilma, Lucille, and Afton), her husband (Ray) and her son (David). She is survived by her son (Patrick). We are eternally grateful for all the time and personal sacrifice mom made for our comfort and for the example she gave us. We love you very much! Godspeed, mom, until we meet again.
