On Wednesday March 18th, 2015 we lost our mother, grandmother and best friend, Patricia Gayle Finnegan Mills. It was unexpected, it happened after her second knee surgery. She had a love for jewelry but a true and unconditional love for her three diamonds, her daughters: Michele Daly, Sheila Rude and Susan Schneider. She would have done anything in the world for these girls.
Grandma Pat was often seen cheering on the five loves of her life: Sean Michael Daly, Braeden Shayne Daly, Jordyn Nicole Schneider, Joshua Paul Rude and Brooke Alisha Rude.
At the age of 20 she took a train from Minnesota to Montana where she began working as the first dental hygienist in Helena, Montana. This paving the way for a profession she continued to thrive in for the next 57 years. She always said she wasn't ready to retire, she loved her co-workers and 2 weeks off and she was already bored. She always joked she wished she had a nickel for every tooth she had cleaned over the years.
She was the foundation of our entire family, she was there to listen day or night. Our ultimate proof-reader of papers and fixer of anything. Whether it was a Starbucks run, boutique shopping or a pedicure, she was ready to go.
We will all miss your never-ending wisdom and love for us.
Please join us to celebrate her life on March 21st, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church.
