Patricia Christopherson

Patricia Hall Christopherson returned home to her Heavenly Father on January 30, 2015. She was born June 10, 1926 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She spent her early years living in Bingham Canyon. The family later moved to Midvale, where she lived for the rest of her life.  Pat went to Jordan High School where she honed her singing, and her sewing skills, she was also the school paper editor.

While in high school she met her future sweetheart Bud Christopherson, who while waiting patiently for her to graduate made sure she didn't date too many other boys. After high school Pat married Bud before he deployed to World War II. He was the love of her life. She once said her happiness began when she married Bud. Together they had 3 wonderful children, Sandy, Paul and Alan.

They loved being outdoors. She camped, hunted, fished, and traveled alongside her love, all her life. She had a special love for birds, Chipmunks, and pinecones. No critter went hungry when Pat was around.

She was always delighted to see her family.  She made everyone feel so important and welcome. She always loved fully and never wavered. Her unconditional love and acceptance of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren was a beautiful example to us all.

She was an avid quilter and amazing seamstress who clothed most of her grandchildren while they were growing.  Her famous quilts wrapped each of us in her love and warmth.  She was a fantastic cook and we will all spend the rest of our lives trying to perfect her potato salad.

She was preceded in Death by her sweetheart Bud, Son Alan, Grandson Mike, and Great Granddaughter Mia.
