Pat Walker Jenson, 88, passed away on March 13, 2024. She was born August 28, 1935 in Union, Utah to Elva Colbrook and Allen Walker. Pat graduated from Jordan High School where she met and eventually married her sweetheart, Ross Jenson on September 30, 1953. They were later sealed in the Jordan River Temple for time and all eternity on December 13, 2015. Ross preceded her in death on March 6, 2003.
Pat and Ross made their home in Midvale, where they raised their 3 children. Pat was involved in many activities including church, parent teacher association, and the Midvale Lions Club. Pat worked 26 years for Jordan school district, retiring in June of 1997.
Pat was always on the go and was ready to pack a bag and hit the road at a moments notice. She and Ross had many fun adventures traveling together.
Pat cherished her friendships and loved going to lunch with her many friends. She had a group of friends from high school that stayed close and continued to have regular lunch outings well into their 80's. Pat brought joy, love, and friendship to everyone she met. She loved helping others and was a caretaker to all. She loved being outdoors, taking long walks, and enjoying the beautiful mountains and sunshine. She took great pride in her yard and could often be found sitting on her porch enjoying the beautiful view.
Mom was very proud of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Anytime you talked to her she would give you updates on what everyone was up to. We will miss her dearly.
Pat is survived by her 3 children, Steven Jenson (Rachel), Tracie Pendley (Robert) and Kim Morgan (Ken), 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 of her siblings, Lynne Deluca (Ken) and Craig Walker (Valarie). She is preceded in death by both of her parents, her husband Ross, brother Gary Walker, son-in-law Robert Pendley and granddaughter Allison Pendley.
There will be a viewing Tuesday, March 19 from 11:00-11:45 am at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State St., Midvale. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 noon. Interment, Midvale City Cemetery.
