Pamela Frances Russell, 70, passed away December 9, 2014 after a short battle with cancer. She was born in Long Beach, CA on July 4, 1944. She was the daughter of John Harold Cotton (deceased) and Alice J. Cotton Sparks.

She graduated from Juab High School, Nephi Utah. She worked for the Children's Service Society and later for Valley Mental Health, where she retired with over 30 years of service. She married Robert Paul Russell on August 3, 1963 and later divorced. They had two daughters, Tamera Russell Patterson and Tiffany Russell So.

Pam was known as the ultimate organizer, party planner and the person who just got things done. She worked on numerous projects which included the Utah Girl Scouts and Midvale Harvest Days.

Preceded in death by her father, John Harold Cotton and sister, Kathleen Alice Cotton. She is survived by her mother, Alice J. Cotton Sparks; brothers, Michael John Cotton (Jo) and John Edward Cotton (Cherie); daughters, Tamera Russell Patterson (Duane) and Tiffany Russell So; 4 grandchildren, Jessica Patterson Davis (Joshua), Jeremy Robert Patterson (Melissa), Breanna Wonhee So and Brooke Wonju So; 4 great grandchildren, Hannah Lee Patterson, Tacoma Robert Patterson, Earl McCormick Davis and Nicole Lynn Davis.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State Street, Midvale, Utah. Friends may call from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Interment, Nephi Vine Bluff Cemetery follow the service at 2:00 p.m.
