Pamela Madsen

At home, holding her daughter's hand, Pamela Jones Madsen exited this mortal life. Surely a joyous reunion took place in Heaven as she reunited with her parents Virginia Russell and David Allen Jones and her eternal companion Richard Lyman Madsen.

Pamela created a legacy of faith, courage, service, and love. Though she had many trials and health issues, she always remained positive and brought laughter and joy to all she met. She had an amazing testimony of our Savior Jesus Christ and was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Family meant the world to Pam. Her daughter Vicki (Darren) Hortin and her children Faith, Brayden, and Mckaylee were her whole world. Her heart was also filled with love for her sister Susan (Jim) Merrill, brother David (Jean-deceased, Kylie) Jones and their children that she cared for like her own.

Pamela was a recipient of an amazing gift. Her sister lovingly donated a kidney to her and extended her life 20 years.

We will be honoring Pamela Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mt. Jordan 1st Ward located at 8950 S. 400 E. in Sandy. Friends may call Wednesday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the chapel or Tuesday, April 21 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State St. in Midvale. Interment will follow at the Sandy City Cemetery.
