Norma Lou Terry Johnson "The Wagon Master" peacefully passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2021 in her home that she loved so much. Born June 27, 1926 to Allen R. and Laura Day Terry in Draper, Utah. Married to Paul Johnson on December 17, 1947 in the Salt Lake Temple.
Norma was the 2nd oldest of eight siblings. She was a hard worker in all aspects of her life. She lived in Draper her entire 94 years. Mom worked at Rasmussen's Store, the Draper Egg and Feed Plant where she candled eggs, and KDK Dairy in Draper, and the most important job, mother and homemaker. She enjoyed being with her family, hosting get-togethers for Christmas mornings, the 24th of July celebration, and BBQ's with friends. She enjoyed camping with friends and the Terry Family Campout.
She and Paul served many years together in the Scouting Program in Draper and served in the Jordan River Temple performing sealings. Norma, Paul and the gang enjoyed their winter trips to Yuma, Arizona and many other adventures. She loved watching her granddaughters grow up, spending time with them almost every day and always having a treat for them. She still had cookies for her great-granddaughter to enjoy.
Survived by her daughter, Robyn; son-in-law, Gerald; granddaughters, Vanessa; Denise (Nick) and great granddaughter Ellie; brother Ray (Helene) Terry, sister, Sondra Terry, sisters-in-law Jean Westover; Rosie Terry, and brother-in-law Jay Olsen. Preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Harvey (Maxine), Lynn and Robert; sisters, Lola and Jean.
Funeral services will be held at the Draper 1st Ward Chapel, 12353 S 600 E, Draper, Saturday, May 1st at 12 noon, with a viewing prior from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. at the church. Norma's family would like to express a heartfelt gratitude for her nurse Joan and caregivers Jennifer and Camille. The cats will miss you mom!
