Noel H. Enniss, age 95, of Draper, Utah, passed away March 3, 2024, of causes incident to age. Noel was born in Draper, Utah on December 30, 1928 to Willard B. Enniss and Annie Durrant Huff. Noel graduated from Brigham Young University in accounting and worked for the Utah Department of Workforce Services for 30 years. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, serving a mission in Japan, serving as a bishop at the Utah State Prison for many years and serving in many other various callings. He also enjoyed participating and serving in many Draper City civic activities.
He was preceded in death by his wife Jean G. Enniss, sister Jane Sheets, brothers Leonard Enniss, Bruce Enniss, and grandson Logan Hansen. He is survived by his children, Sallie Hansen (David), Melodie Obershaw, and Rodney Enniss, sister Mary Baird, 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the Corner Canyon 1st Ward for their many years of service and kindness on Noel’s behalf. The family would also like to thank Elevation Hospice for their service and care and Ashford Assisted Living Center for their service and kindness.
There will be a viewing at Anderson & Goff Mortuary, 11859 So. 700 E., Draper, UT 84020, on Friday, March 8th from 6-8 PM. There will also be a viewing on Saturday, March 9th from 10:00 to 10:45 AM, followed by the funeral at 11:00 AM at the LDS Church on 13006 So. Boulter St., Draper, UT. Burial will be at Larkin Sunset Gardens.
