Nicole Marie Hansen-Erickson, age 32, resident of Kanab, Utah, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, December 16th, 2020. She will be cherished and missed by the many around her whose lives she touched. Nicole was born in Murray, Utah to Raymond Verion Hansen and Rachel Denise Stay on December 1st, 1988 and they adored their little Nikki.
Nicole grew up in Sandy, Utah with her parents, along with her sister Chantell Hansen, and brother Jarod Hansen. Family and friends were Nicole's biggest passion. She loved spending time with her Grandma Karla Stay, learning how to be cool and have fun. Her Grandma Joan Ainsworth helped her find her passion for hairstyling. She had a special bond with her Grandpa Bruce who became a life mentor to Nikki. She was baptized into the LDS church by her Grandpa Dennis Stay.
Nicole spent many of her adolescent and adult years in Kanab, Utah where she became close with her Uncle Noal Hansen and Aunt Debbie Hansen, along with her cousins Chris Hansen, Zachary Hansen and Brittney Beverleigh. Kanab is where she met Adam Erickson and raised her beautiful family. She is the mother to Emmy Nicole Erickson, Max Adam Erickson, and Abel Raymond Hansen. She loved them with all of her heart. She loved to have fun with her children, and they adored her.
Nicole was a social butterfly and was always right in the center of the crowd. She made many lifelong friends to include her soul sister Brittney Allen and her American Eskimo friend Vada. She held them both very close to her heart.
She worked with special needs children at the Kanab Middle School and cared for the elderly at the BeeHive Home in Kanab. She loved working with people and genuinely cared for them beyond her job duties. Her smile was bright, and her contagious positive energy would lift the atmosphere around her.
Nicole was full of love and light; the universe will shine brighter from now on as she joins the heavens. Her memory will live on with us as we celebrate her time and life here on this earth. Nikki was a beloved granddaughter, daughter, sister, aunt, mother, and friend.
