Nelda Aliene Allen Steadman, 90, passed away March 28, 2016. She was born Aug. 7, 1925 in Draper, Utah to James Henry Allen and Juliet Smith. She one of five children raised between Draper, Utah and the Allen Ranch in Cedar Valley. She married her sweetheart, William (Bill) Steadman, on April 19, 1945. They raised four boys, Allen, Randy, Kyle and Kary, and made their home in Draper, Utah.
She enjoyed winters in Mesquite, Nevada, summers in Strawberry at the family cabin, having a good time gambling, and partying whenever she had the chance with friends. She will be remembered for her bright personality to warm a room, a contagious chuckle to share with everyone, playing cards with friends and family, and her notorious response whenever you asked how she was doing, "I'm doing everyone I can!"
She is survived by her sons, Allen (Jadine) Steadman, Kyle Steadman, Kary (Rehana) Steadman, and daughter-in-law Rebecca Steadman; nine grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Bill Steadman, her son Randy Steadman, her parents, her brothers Shirl, Blaine, and Art, and sister Dorothy.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 2, at 11:00 a.m. at the Draper City Cemetery, 12450 South 900 East. Friends may call Friday, April 1, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State St., Midvale.
