Nathan Charles Durkee passed away in his home at the age of 40 on April 12, 2019. Nathan was born on March 17, 1979 in Ogden, Utah to Donna Hill and Randall Durkee.

Nathan was married to Learit Garrido Carrera. Nathan has a passion for music. A self-taught pianist, he would spend many hours playing the piano and composing. Nathan gifted the world with his original compositions though CD's that he made. He also loved to read, and self-published a book on Amazon. Nathan found beauty and meaning in everything and expressed himself in his tattoos which he was very proud of. Nathan also loved to take drives though the canyons and avenues of Salt Lake. Nathan loved attending midnight mass, and was a lover of musicals. He attended many musicals with his friends and mother. Nathan will be greatly missed by all.

Nathan is survivied by his husband Learit Carrera, parents Donna and Randall Durkee, sister Natalie (Jason) Struks , his two brothers Shane Durkee and Jason Durkee, two nieces Jade Durkee and Cherish Springer, as well as his nephew Dylon Durkee, as well as many friends he loved as family.

Nathan is preceded in death by his grandparents, great grandparents and one uncle.
