Nate Elgin Garrett

In the early morning hours of September 12, 2021 our Beloved Son, Brother, Uncle and Friend, Nate Elgin Garrett of Nephi, Utah passed away peacefully in his home.  Born August 4, 1977 to Marjorie Rollins Blackett and Larry Marvin Garrett. He loved to be outdoors, fishing, hunting and being with friends and family.  He took great pride in taking care of his Jeep and his dog Tullie. He adored his friends and family. He called and checked in on everyone often.  Nate had a special way of always making people feel loved and special. He made friends easily and would stop and chat with anybody.

He is survived by his parents Marjorie and Marlow Blackett, Larry Marvin Garrett, his sister Amber (Andrew) Payne, step brothers Justin (Josalyn) Blackett, Jeremy Blackett, step sisters Mandee (Josh) Allan, Tina (Torry) Coombs, numerous nieces and nephews and close friends.  Nate is preceded in death by his grandparents Basil and Alice Rollins, Marvin Garrett, June Jones, Evan and Nadine Blackett and a nephew Reese Payne. Rest in Peace Cowboy.

A viewing will be held Thursday, September 16 from 6-8 pm at the Anderson Funeral Home in Nephi, Utah. Graveside services will be held Friday, September 17th at 11 am at Vine Bluff Cemetery.
