Naomi Bradbury

Naomi Crystal Bradbury, 94, our loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, peacefully returned to her Heavenly Father on June 18, 2015 in Sandy, Utah. Her sweetheart George was there to greet her.

She was born on February 8, 1921 in American Fork, Utah to William James and Ruth Walker Crystal. Naomi married George Whitney Bradbury on January 31, 1940 in Provo, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Naomi graduated from American Fork High School in 1939. She retired from Cottonwood Hospital after 22 years as a Nurse's Aide in the nursery. She served in many callings for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Survived by her sons, Michael (Darlene). George Alan (Florence) and David (Tami); daughter, Susan (Joseph Arden) Obray; 14 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, parents and siblings.

The family wishes to thank all those who took care of her at Sandy Health & Rehab and OneCare Hospice, who were there at the end.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at the Mt. Jordan Stake Center, 9331 S. 300 E., Sandy, Utah. Viewings will held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday evening at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State Street, Midvale, Utah and 1 hour prior to the services, at the church. Interment, Sandy City Cemetery.
