Nancy Evelyn Dolle

West Jordan, Utah - Nancy Evelyn Cook Dolle, 53, daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, died peacefully holding her mother's hand as they lay together on her bed. Her mother said "I love you Nancy." Nancy squeezed her hand, and her spirit peacefully left her body to return to Heavenly Father on Saturday, March 14, 2020. Nancy fought with all her might for two and a half years to beat the cancer that finally took her life.

Nancy was born March 21, 1966 in Murray, Utah to Vardis and Evelyn Nelson Cook. She graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1984. Nancy was always a hard worker. She worked at many different jobs in her life, but her favorite was working at South Valley School with Special Education students.

Nancy married Peter Dolle, April 15, 2000. They were later sealed to each other in the Jordan River Temple. After their marriage, Nancy became a mother to Pete's four children, Katrina Prodnuk (Tee), Stephanie Dolle, Amanda Keller (Matt), and Zach Dolle. They have nine wonderful grandchildren. Nancy adored her four dogs and four parrots. To her, they were also her children. Nancy loved to spend time with her family. They were her best friends. They liked to play cards, go camping, ride snowmobiles, ride ATV's and just sit around and visit. She was happiest when she was with her family.

Nancy and Peter were Professional Parents, blessing the lives of several individuals with special needs. They were fortunate to have Mikey in their home until he passed. One of the greatest opportunities they experienced was being parents to Christel. Nancy and Christel grew to have a strong bond. Nancy loved Christel as a daughter, and Christel loved Nancy right back. She considered Nancy to be her mother.

Nancy was the eighth of nine children. She was loved and adored by her parents and siblings. She will be missed, but she knew, and we know, that we will see her again. Nancy is preceded in death by her father, Vardis Cook; her sisters, Janette Cook and Lynn Cook; her nephews, Scott Cook and Ryan Cook; and her sister-in-law, Karen Cook. She is survived by her husband, Peter Dolle; her children and grandchildren; her mother, Evelyn Cook; her siblings, Kent Cook (Debbie), Richard Cook (Sherilyn), Jeanine Evans (John), Debra Buchanan (Lyle), Ralph Cook (Kim), Tonya Neilson (Brad); and her nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, March 19th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State Street, Midvale. Graveside services will be held Friday, March 20th at 11:00 a.m. at Sandy City Cemetery, 700 E. 9000 S., Sandy.
