On December 16, 2019, Nancy Julia Rasmussen Aagard, age 72, from Levan, Utah, passed away at the Legacy House in Spanish Fork with causes incident to age.

Nancy was born to Charles Ronald and Lorraine Deon Rasmussen on April 30, 1947 in Delta Utah. She was raised in Flowell and attended high school in Fillmore, Utah. She married Bart Aagard on July 23, 1964. She made her home and life with him in Levan, Utah where they raised 7 children. She contributed in living self-sufficiently on a farm of their own by sewing their clothing and making homemade bread. She provided an in-home daycare for many years showing love and devotion to many children over a 15-year period.

A pillar of faith, Nancy was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Though her service in the church was less visible than others, her dedication to her faith and devotion to God never waivered. Later in life, Nancy was able to finish her high school education and went on to work at Utah Valley Pediatrics where she found many friends whom she treasured.

As Nancy went on to join her daughter, Rose and her parents in the next life, she leaves behind her husband, Bart; children, Carma (David) Boswell, Dick (Charlinn) Aagard, Ben (Jeana) Aagard, Andrew (Lucy) Aagard, Sunny (Jon) Robbins, Rebecca Aagard, 20 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren, along with numerous people who grew to love her along her path of life.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 21 at 12 p.m. at the LDS Chapel, 25 North 100 East, Levan, Utah. Friends may come on Friday, Dec. 20, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Nephi (94 West 300 North) or from 11:00 to 11:45 a.m. prior to the funeral services. Interment will be at the Levan Cemetery.
