Nada Pauline Linnarz, 69 years old, passed away on Friday, August 25th in St. George, Utah due to complications from recent illness and long-term kidney disease.
Nada grew up in Sandy, Utah, and was the youngest of five children born to Otto Julius Linnarz and Mary Kathryn Anderson Linnarz.
She graduated from Jordan High School and later with an Associate’s degree in Accounting from LDS Business College. She worked as a cashier, assistant manager, and manager at Holiday Oil and Top Stop convenience stores and as a tax accountant for Morris Air, Southwest Airlines, Achieve Global, and Vivint. She made many friends at each place where she worked.
Nada married Richard Lorin Henline in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple in 1973 and they had four children together: Travis, Branden, Katy, and Adam. Nada and Richard were later divorced.
Nada loved being with her family and playing card games. She loved good meals, Hallmark movies, witty conversation, and a good book.
Nada is survived by her children: Branden (Tiffany) Henline, Katy (Cory) Staley, and Adam (Summer) Henline, her sister Barbara Sadler, her seven grandchildren Hailey, Andrew, Joel, and Will Henline, Chloe and Caleb Staley, and Dennis Dorrity, her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Nada was preceded in death by Richard Lorin Henline (her former spouse), her brother Richard Linnarz, two sisters Jeannette Gomez and Gwen Bellon, her oldest son Travis Henline, and grandson Tren Dorrity.
The family would like to express gratitude to all of the medical professionals at St. George Regional Hospital who took care of Nada in her final days as well as the team at Liberty Dialysis who cared for her throughout the past several years. We especially appreciate Summer Henline who was her companion, friend, and caregiver for doctor’s appointments, dialysis, and many road trips.
