Myrtle Braithwaite, 93, loving wife, mother, and homemaker passed away on May 28, 2017 in Cottonwood Heights, Utah.
Born Myrtle J. Martin, 1923, in Georgetown, South Carolina, she was one of six children and the daughter of Joseph and Myrtle Martin.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John (Jack) Braithwaite, her four brothers, Berk, Cliff, Laster, and Heber, and her granddaughter, Kimberly.
She is survived by her five children, J. Ronald Braithwaite; Wayne Braithwaite; Kathy Best; Carol Rhodes; and Becky Lindhardt as well as her beloved sister, Neida McQuarrie Gibson, and by 16 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
Myrtle will be missed by her family and everyone who knew her.
"Thanks" to the nurses and staff at Brighton Home Health and Hospice, as well as at Canyon Creek Assisted Living Center, who were so kind to Myrtle and her family during her final weeks.
Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, May 31 at 11:00 A.M. at the Spanish Fork City Cemetery, 420 S. 400 E., Spanish Fork, Utah.
