Myra Jo Nickel

A True Angel on Earth passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, January 25, 2017. Survived by her husband of 43 wonderful years Lester Nickel; 2 brothers, Nicolaus Petrlich and Anthony Petrlich. This beautiful lady attended The University of Utah and received her Bachelors of Nursing and was instantly hired as an R.N. at St. Marks Hospital, from 1973-1982, then left and went to work at the V.A. Hospital for 33 more years. She battled M.S. for many years. Anyone who met her automatically loved her as she did them without reserve. She held true to her faith as a devout Catholic all her life. All who knew her will miss her deeply.

Visitation will be at Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State Street on Friday, February 3, 2017 beginning at 11:00 to 11:45. Graveside Service will begin at 12:00 Noon at the Midvale City Cemetery.
