Morris Allan Hodson

Morris Allan Hodson passed away at his home November 19, 2016 from a very tired heart. Morris had his first heart attack at 49 years of age and has had a lifetime of different heart procedures. We are indebted to the many heart specialists and doctors who prolonged his life and gave him so many years to live a productive and happy life.

Morris was born November 20, 1938 in Springville, Utah and was the 5th son of LeRoy A. Hodson and Iva Phillips (Hodson). He attended school in Springville, Snow College and BYU. While at Snow College he met his sweetheart, Ruth Beard, on a blind date. The two were married in the Salt Lake Temple for time and all eternity on June 29, 1959. Morris and Ruth loved each other very much. Morris has been so lonely since Ruth passed away on January 12, 2013. He is no doubt very happy to be reunited with his beloved wife.

Morris and Ruth had three children: Stuart (Becky) Hodson, Jody (Antonio) Lopez, and Michael (Debbie) Hodson. Morris is a father, grandfather of 13 grandchildren, and great-grandfather of six darling great-grandchildren. His family has been the joy of his life. He never wavered in his dedication to his family. We would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to all who have helped and loved Morris throughout his mortal life.

There will be a viewing prior to the funeral on Saturday the 26th of November from 10-11:45 a.m. at the Cedar Hollow Church Building, located at 1020 E. 1900 N., Lehi, Utah. Funeral services will take place at noon, and the interment will follow the services at the Lehi City Cemetery located at 1100 N. 400 E., Lehi, Utah.
