Monty Charles "Chuck" Emmons, Sr.

Monty passed away suddenly on October 16th, 2024 in his home with his pride and joy by his side, Precious "Gitty". He was born on July 7th, 1963 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Erma LaVon Emmons and William Dean Emmons. He was the youngest of nine children and everyone's baby.

Monty married his best friend and soulmate Bev Adams on November 11th, 2000. They were always together laughing, there was never a dull moment. Monty was always joking around with is wife, keeping her on her toes. Monty loved singing and playing guitar to pass time.

He is survived by his wife Bev Emmons; children Misty (Mike) Haven, Steven (Kristina) Emmons, Silver (Cody) Walker, Marcie (Brandon) Durham, Monty Emmons, Jr.; siblings Butch (Ida) Ruth, Reney (John) Sizemore, Wendy (Paul) Wigginton; and 12 grandchildren. Preceded in death by his daughters Starlynn and Khearsten "Missy"; both his parents; brothers Bucky Ruth, Frank Ruth, Mick Ruth, Ron Emmons; and sister Dolly Hultgren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 25th at 11:00 AM with a viewing one hour prior to services at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State St, Midvale. Interment to follow services at Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery.

Monty will be missed by so many. This isn't goodbye, it's see you later. Until we meet again. He is singing to his loved ones in Heaven.
