Miles Morrill Clarke

Miles Clarke passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on September 14, 2015 at the age of 80. He was born on June 13, 1935 in Torrey, Utah to Sydney Penrose Clarke and Ila Morrill Clarke. He married the love of his life, Carol Bollschweiler on December 13, 1955 in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. They nearly celebrated 60 years of love and marriage. He was employed at EIMAC, Division of Varian for 32 years. Following retirement, Miles and his wife Carol served in the Family History Mission in Salt Lake City. He also was a stake missionary, a faithful home teacher and had other church callings.

He was always willing to help those in need. Miles is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Carol; daughters, Robyn Clarke, Tina (Randy) Goyen; sons, Jeff (Colleen) Clarke, Mike (Betty) Clarke, Lee (Denise) Clarke; 20 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; siblings, Marilyn Silcox, Delsa (Dan) Doyle, Callis (Lorene) Clarke, Robert (Susan) Clarke. He joins his parents and a daughter, Lisa Clarke who preceded him in death.

Miles loved working in his garden and enjoyed the Morrill Meadowbrook Ranch in Torrey. He truly loved and enjoyed his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Miles was a compassionate friend to all he met. Dad, we will always love you and we will never forget you.

Services will be held, Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Murray 23rd Ward on 751 East Three Fountains Drive in Murray, Utah. The family will receive friends and relatives on Monday, September 21 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State, Midvale, Utah and again Tuesday from 10:00 -11:00 a.m. at the Murray 23rd Ward.
