Michelle Rae Luken-Scott, age 54, passed away on May 15, 2021 in her home in Cottonwood Heights, Utah after a courageous battle with cancer.

Michelle deeply loved those around her and you were a better person for knowing her.

Michelle was born on December 18, 1966 in Virginia to Konrad Otto Lindbloom Luken and Verlene Rae (Robbins) Luken.

Michelle married Royal Leonard Scott on November 26, 2002. And they were sealed in the Salt Lake LDS temple on November 26, 2004.

She received her masters degree at the University of Phoenix and is an accomplished business owner.

Michelle leaves an amazing legacy of a life well lived. She lived life fearlessly. No matter what she did she was all in. She enjoyed traveling all over the world, planting flowers, and decorating her home. Some of her favorite places she visited were Peru, Croatia, Australia and Russia. Life to her was an adventure. She was able to do things like riding ostriches, elephants, camels etc. with her family and every country she visited she went to the zoo to learn more about animals she had never seen before.

She was a member of the Swedish heritage society. And participated in the San Kat Lucia Celebration every year. She was very proud of her heritage.

Michelle is preceded in death by her father Konrad Otto Lindbloom Luken, and her grandparents.

Survived by (spouse) Royal Leonard Scott, (sons) Sven Brighton Oakeson, and Bjorn Otto Luken-Scott, (daughter) Kristiana Rae Luken-Scott, (mother) Verlene Rae (Robbins) Luken, (brother) Konrad-Erling Luken (KEL), (sister-in-law) Lezli Luken and (nephew) Michael David.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 22nd, at 11:00 am, at the Brighton 6th Ward located at 2925 East Bengal Blvd.(7800 So.),Cottonwood Heights, Utah, where a Viewing will be held prior to services from 9:30 to 10:30 am.

Graveside Service will be held Monday, May 24th, 11:00 am, at the Logan City Cemetery located at 1000 North 1200 East, Logan, Utah.

The family would like to thank all who assisted in Michelle’s care.
