Michael Paul Yengich

Michael passed away on February 16, 2015 after three years of health problems.

Michael was born in March of 1952 and lived in Highland Boy until he was five when his family moved to Sandy, Utah.  Michael graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1970 and went on to obtain a degree in electronics.  He worked for Litton Industries where his many electronic skills were put to good use over many years.  He loved his job responsibilities and the people he worked with.

Michael had a passion for photography and spent many hours capturing photos of nature, friends and family.  Once he stopped working he spent a lot of his time working on his family history.  He shared the family history interest with his favorite Aunt, Erma and just a few days before his passing he shared his newest updates with her.

Michael is survived by his mother Mary Yengich, sisters Marie (Doug) Taylor, Rose (Andy) Dunn, & Anita Kanakis.  Proceeded in death by his Father Marko Yengich, and Brother Anthony Yengich.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday February 21, 2015 at Saint John the Baptist Catholic Parish at 300 East 11800 South Draper, UT.  Viewing will be held from 6 to 8 PM Friday at Goff Mortuary 8090 South State Street, Midvale, and UT.
