Michael Ma

Michael Ma, of Bay Area California, left us to join our Heavenly Father�on April 15, 2017. He was born on January 14, 1983 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Michael lived in Utah through his childhood before moving to California to pursue his undergraduate degree in computer engineering. He fell in love with the Bay Area and then decided to stay in California to start a career in his two passions in life: photography and technology. He later fell in love and married his lovely wife in San Francisco on September 25, 2016. Michael enjoyed traveling, good food, sports (specifically the 49ers, Giants, Warriors and professional wrestling), and most importantly spending time with his family and friends. Michael will forever be remembered as a wonderful and loving husband, son, brother, and friend. He is survived by his wife Winnie Yu, his parents Johnny Ma and Kien Le Lam, and his siblings Henry Ma and Shauna Ma. Viewing services will take place at 6:00 PM on April 28th at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 4360 West 5415 South, Kearns UT 84118. Funeral Mass will start the next day on April 29th at 9:00 AM at the same church as the viewing services. Burial ceremony will follow immediately after Mass at 10:30 AM at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 1342 East 500 South, Salt Lake City, UT 84102.
