Maxene Andreasen Sweat, 72, passed away Thursday, April 8, 2021 in the Nephi hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in Preston, Idaho, January 24, 1949 to Max Wayne and Emma Mardene Harris Andreasen. She married Lew R Sweat on April 13, 1974.
She also had a previous marriage to late Greg Lamour Ingram.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved serving the Lord in many ways, including working in the Provo Temple, and serving a temple mission in Washington, DC.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend who would make everyone feel welcome and special. She loved horses, and spent many wonderful years herding cows in Westfork with Lew and her kids. Later in life she loved spending time with her grandchildren and dogs, and going on many adventures. She crocheted many afghans for family and friends. She was blessed at the end of her life with spending time with her sisters Gay and Patti.
She is survived by one son and two daughters: Rhet Lamour Ingram, Nephi, Utah; Jeanne (Kirk) Crystal, Woodland, Utah; and Lindsey (Bart) Gappmayer, Thatcher, Idaho; and four grandchildren, two step grandchildren, and one great grandchild, two brothers, and four sisters Vicky (Bill) Draughn, Syracuse, Utah, Von (Nickie) Andreasen, Roseville, California, Gay (Dale) Royce, Nephi, Utah, Patti (Chad) Bowles, Nephi, Utah, Kim (Valorie) Andreasen, Ferron, Utah, and Eve (Scott) Jackson, Ferron, Utah, sister-in-law Elaine (Kay) Andreasen, and stepmother Pat, four stepbrothers and one stepsister, Randy (LaDean) Smith, Scott (Suzanne) Smith, Ned (Debra) Smith, Maren (Doug) Strindberg, Tim (Jere) Smith.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lew, both parents Max Wayne and Emma Mardene, one sister Sandra Jensen, two brothers Van Andreasen and Kay Andreasen, and granddaughter Matye Don Ingram.
A small viewing and service will be held at Heber City Cemetery, Tuesday, April 13th at noon. Feel free to bring a chair.
