Max Duran

Our beloved father, brother, uncle and grandfather, Max Duran, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2016. Max was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico on August 6, 1940 to ErmaLena Mondragon and Fidel Duran.

The family relocated to Bingham Canyon, Utah. He joined the US Army and received an honorable discharge. He then met and married Judy Harryman and had four children, Debra (Joe), Max Jr., Mark and Denise (Ron).

Max had 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He supported his family working at Kennecott as a haulage driver. He worked there for 36 years before he retired.

There will be a rosary at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State Street, Midvale, Utah on Friday, June 10, 2016 at 7:00 p.m., with a visitation an hour prior and a memorial service on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.

Max's wishes were for people to dress informal. He wanted people to celebrate his life, not mourn our loss.
