Maurleen €Œmaurnie†Evelyn Hatch

Maurleen Evelyn Hatch - "Maurnie" returned home to her Heavenly Father on May 27, 2021. She was born to Philander and Maurine Gourley Hatch on January 12, 1936 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She attended Ensign, Bryant, West High and BYU. She had a life full of children, although none of them her own. She had a family full of nieces and nephews, and taught elementary school for almost 29 years. She left a mark on each child as she blessed their lives by helping them to read and write, and learn to love art and music.

Her talents included a beautiful singing voice, pianist, theater, artistry, sewing and cooking. She used her many talents in her teaching, and to fill LDS church positions with complete dedication. She was such a kind and loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend. We love you Maurnie! She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister Sandra. She is survived by her brother Phil Hatch (Terry), and her sister Valerie Hatch Koenig.

A viewing will be held on June 2, 2021, at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State St. in Midvale, Utah from 2 pm to 3 pm. Graveside service and interment will immediately follow at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 S. Highland Dr. in Millcreek, Utah.
