Maureen Grace Pinegar

Midvale, UT - I was born on the warm sunny day of August 28th, 1959 in Burlingame, California. I was the second daughter born to Orson Noel Jensen and Grace Verna Klein Jensen. My big sister Monica (Steve Call) was my best friend growing up. After two princesses, my parents decided to have boys. Sterling, Craig and Eric followed and we had quite the fun family. Their spouses Carol, Jodi and Holly have added great joy to my life. Everyone is alive and doing well, except for my dear father who passed on in February 2011. I am anxious to run through the fields with him again.

I met a tall, handsome young man named Joseph Walker Pinegar, who asked me to dance. He didn't know how to dance very well, and I've been teaching him how to dance and have fun his whole life. We married in the Salt Lake City Temple on June 12th of 1981 and started our life together. Life really began 5 1/2 years later when our son Cole Walker Pinegar was born and my dream of being a mother came true. We had as much fun in our little family as was humanly possible. Laughter was always an important part of our life. Together, we travelled the world, and made friends that have lasted my whole life. Cole grew up and found the love of his life in our beautiful daughter in law, Rebekah Anne Christensen. I love her with all my heart. They brought more joy to my life than they will ever know with two of the best grand kids the world has ever seen: Cruz and Luca. I always wanted to be the magic grandma, and have achieved this completely. Grandma Mo Mo loves you to the moon and back. Don't ever forget that.

Joe's parents W. Lynn Pinegar and Mary Walker Pinegar, along with his siblings Jeff (Shauna), John (Leila), Mary Jane (Sam Halterman), Judd (Erica) and Jeanne (Robert Johnson), have become as close to me as my own siblings. They are all alive and kicking, except for my dear sister in law Mary Jane, who passed away 2 years ago.

My life has been an adventure. Some of those adventures have me soaring with the eagles. Others have taken me to the depths of hell. I do not wish those on my worst enemy.

I've wanted to soar with eagles again for a long time and I finally got my chance again. I left this mortal body of mine around 10 am on Monday, May 30, 2016. It was a beautiful sunny morning. just like the day I was born.

It wasn't easy leaving. As much as Joe expected this to happen sooner or later, he tried to hold onto me as long as he could, but my heart and body had just had enough.

I want you all to know how much I loved my family and friends and especially my Savior Jesus Christ.

Viewings will be held 6-8 pm Friday, June 3, 2016 and 10-10:45 am Saturday, June 4, 2016. Funeral will be held 11 am Saturday, June 4, 2016. All services will be located at the LDS Midvale Stake Center, 240 E 7570 S, Midvale, UT 84047. Interment at Memorial Lakeview Cemetery in Bountiful, Utah.
