Mary Lyne (McQuillan) Shorter of Sandy Utah, passed away August 5, 2016.
Mary was born September 27, 1949, to George and Bonnie McQuillan. She graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1967.
Three years later, Mary was married to Jerry LeRoy Shorter on August 8, 1970 and later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. They were married for a total of 46 years.
Mary is survived by her husband, Jerry; her two children, Damon (Jenn) Shorter, Mandi Atwell, her six grandchildren (Briana, Ashton, Nicole, Eric, Evan and Shari) one great grandchild (Ariel) and her two siblings, Lee (Nancy) McQuillan and Carrie (Del) Handley. She is preceded in death by her father, George McQuillan and mother, Bonnie McQuillan.
Memorial Services will be held Saturday, August 13 at 11:00 am at the Hillcrest 9th Ward Chapel, 915 E. Peach Blossom Dr., Sandy, UT 84094.
