Mary Lou Mascaro, 82, our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, passed away on December 25, 2018 in South Jordan, Utah. She was born on August 22, 1936 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Thomas A. Ball and Mary Elizabeth Ryser Ball.

Mary was married to William T. Mascaro the sweetheart of her life with whom she shared many memorable adventures.

She graduated from West High in 1953, and while still in high school she worked as a legal secretary. She held many positions of responsibility as an Executive Assistant for United Airlines, Kennecott, UEA, Sandy City, and the Salt Lake City Council.

Mary was adored by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She made every weekend and holiday special and beautiful. She was meticulous about how she dressed and cared for her home. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She is survived by her children, Scott (Dawn) Baker and Holly (David) Cook; grandchildren, Nichole (Sean) Baird, Natalie (Steve) Forbush, Thomas (Rebecca) Cook, Nanette Baker, Carly (Aaron) Scott and 11 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her two sisters, LaRue Hogan and Gloria Ray, and her husband and sweetheart, Will.

Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Wednesday, January 2, 2018 at Anderson & Goff Mortuary, 11859 South 700 East, Draper, Utah. Friends and family are invited to attend a viewing prior to the funeral from 10:30-11:30 am. Interment, Sandy City Cemetery.
